Seychelle xRichardson is the creator and host of Equal Portions. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she received a B.S. in Finance and has gone on to work as a software engineer, and done significant work in the music industry as co-founder of Jack of All Records.

A lover of art, music, and culture, cooking and food is her highest passion. On Equal Portions she intersects this love for food with her and many other’s realities of being Black in America. Possessing a deep well of knowledge she hopes educate and bring to light lesser known issues within our community.

Xyan xRichardson is the composer, audio engineer, and co-producer of Equal Portions. He earned his B.S in Urban and Regional Planning at Virginia Commonwealth University where he also competed on the men’s Division 1 Track & Field Team. Outside of Equal Portions he is a musician, photographer and visual artist; as well as executive producer and co-founder of Jack of All Records.

Currently residing in New York you can find him engaged in a number of creative endeavors such producing radio and music or performing live music along the east coast.

Jazmine Lawrence is the Project Manager at Equal Portions, where she is responsible for researching, writing, and developing content for the program. As the primary point of contact for operations and growth opportunities, Jazmine plays a key role in driving the organization’s initiatives forward.

Her professional journey combines experiential production, with a specialization in fashion, alongside experience in digital content, film production, and program management. Based in New York City, Jazmine is committed to merging creativity with strategic oversight to achieve impactful results.
